Basic Forum Tutorial

Well it's obvious that some of you guys are struggling of how to use a forum, so i created this quick tutorial ^^. I hope it helps ;D.
This is just the basic stuff, such as buttons and what you need to know about forums. It's forum common knowledge! Here is a photo that can help you understand what each buttons are

Home - This is where you use this button often to click back to the main page. Which is the page you see when you use this URL : https://bannedstorypeeps.forumotion.com/
Search - you use this for the forum and if you need to find a certain topic such as a friend's shop you simply need to write tags that would load you into it. It will not search comments for you.
Members - This is the list of all the members that has join, you can edit the list until you like it. Such as "last visits", "joined", and etc.
Profile - This is the section where you can edit your own profile, such as friends and foes, avatar, signature, and etc!
Pm - This is where you can privately message users and where you can see your messages if someone privately messaged you.
Logout - This button is used when you sign off your account.
Categories - Categories are basically labels that organized the forum topics, it is used to find the forum you want to post in.
Forum - This is where anyone can post topics, posts, responses, and etc!
Do you see that other people's username are different colors? Do you want to have some sort of symbolic color that represent you? Well, those colors are actually used to tell which guild people are. If you scroll down the mainpage forum, you will see a word called "Legends" and beside it, guild names.

As you can see, besides moderators, there is a color for all the guilds. Once the guild leader join the website, the forum admins will create the guilds for them. To simply join a guild, you must click on the guild name and click "join".
Some of the guilds are:
Zealous-Skyline, Lazy-piggies, ColourMe, etc
A chat room is a little chat / messenger where you can speak to members live and actively, you can use emotes and etc. I do realize some people struggle using a chat room, but don't worry this tutorial can help.

Step 1 - You first scroll all the way down to see the chat box. Once you find it, read step two.
Step 2 - You then click "join in" or something similar to it found in the left corner of the chatbox.
Step 2 - A new window will appear, this is where you can log in. On the top right corner it should have a little button saying "log in". That is where you can log in. Once clicking on it, you can be able to see the conversation and such.
Once you are in the chat box, you can go back to the mainpage and refresh so you can use the smaller chatbox.

Once you're in chat, you will see these weird buttons. All these buttons and messenger is pretty basic, i don't need to go into explanation for this.
There is always a new member who is absolutely confuse how to edit their profile. This tutorial shows you how to edit it.

To go to this page, you must hit the button. "profile", this page then shows. The first page that shows is pretty basic it asks you edit your information and such. But notice above the information stuff, there are little tabs. You can click on those tabs to edit your profile.
information - This is where you edit basic information about yourself.
Preferences - This area is where you want your account to be seeing and get only limit amount of emails and such. Of course there is a default preference you can use too if you don't really want to edit much.
Signature - Everyone loves the signature area, this is where the section you like to be used as footer everytime you post. Such as my signature, this is basically used to give you and others their own unique little footer.
Avatar - This is pretty basic too, the section helps you change your profile photo, also known as "Display photo" too.
Friends and Foes - This is where you keep your friendlist and BLOCK list, you can send invite and accept invites from here. There is also a "block list" also known as "foes" Where you can submit any user and you will no longer see any posts from that certain user.
Topic(s) being watched - this is the section where it lists topics that other people post, and it will sometimes inform you when someone comments it. It's pretty similar to "following post" on facebook.
Favorites Pretty similar to topics being watch but it's a favorite gallery section where you can favorite topics, and etc. I don't think it would inform you if it's updated and such though.
Everyone loves signature! For some certain reason, but some people struggle with signature editing, and this tutorial will help you make one! A signature is a footer that is used in all of your posts that you like to use it in. People can submit photos in signature, gifs, etc.

Here is the basic buttons used, some people also ask "How do i post pictures in my signature?" You simply need a link of the photo you want and then you can simply write in this coding.
Sorry if i didnt go in depth with this part of the tutorial, i thought the photo was self explanatory.
This is where you can edit your avatar, avatars seems to give you a unique feeling to life, and that is why people love this widget. You find the avatar editing section when you go to Profile> avatar.
This photo too is pretty self explanatory, and avatar using isn't that hard.
